Sugar.
it has come to my attention that the sugar I used in Japan was a lot less sweeter than the ones here in Malaysia.
and my cousin who went back from German said Malaysia's sugar sweetness level is a lot higher.
so what now.
is there any way sugar can get sweeter? or the sweetness level differs geographically?
But the thing I really can't fathom is how watermelon juice and apple juice can actually taste the same. what??????
I drink to a point I can't possibly drink anymore. the sweetness choking on my throat. then like, i suddenly felt so thirsty i can't handle anymore of this sweet sensation.
Oh please
I came to quench my thirst. And what's happening to me?
Malaysia. Where all the fruit juices and teh 'o's taste of gula.
That is why Malaysia, proudly saying, is the number one country with the highest number of diabetics among ASEAN countries.
And I don't know why Malaysians love sugar so much.
Normal daily situation:
Go out for a drive and saw a guava stall by the road.
"Eh, got guava lah. So hot now, some guava juice would be nice man."
So, stopped by the stall and told the stall owner.
"Boss, ini air berapa satu?" And thus the owner will reply:
"Rm2.00 la" and so thinking a cup of guava juice would be worth rm2.00 per cup, you fork out two rm1 notes and handed it out.
The owner then takes an empty cup, *here's the important part so take note*
Takes the bowl of liquid sugar and put in 2-3 small cups of that sugar into your cup. Then, the owner goes taking the guava juice into your sugar-filled cup.
And handed your oh-so-nice guava juice to you, and you went about, happy for your sugar drink.
That 2-3 liquid sugar might constitute like 2-3% of your drink, but lets think, if you have 100ml of drink then your sugar content would've been 20-30ml of that water.
That is if the sugar cup takes only 10ml per scoop.
we Malaysians need a better and healthier lifestyles. we need to cut down sugar intake, to have better health.
lol. don't i sound like a national tv commercial.
but hey, some national tv commercials are only meant for viewing purposes. nobody really takes them seriously, don't they?
gelak-gelak everyday.
